8. Existing Pipework & System Condition

All quotations are based on the assumption that existing pipework and plumbing systems are in a serviceable condition.
Hidden defects, inaccessible pipework, corrosion, historic poor workmanship, scale build-up, blockages, or damaged pipework may only become apparent during works.
Additional works may be required where underlying defects are discovered and will be quoted separately.

9. Water Pressure & Flow Rates

Unless specifically agreed, we do not guarantee improved water pressure or flow rates where existing incoming mains pressure, gravity systems, or system design are inadequate.
Additional boosting systems, storage systems, or pipework alterations may be required and will be quoted separately if necessary.

10. Drainage & Blockages

Drainage investigations are based on accessible areas only unless otherwise stated.
Further blockages, collapsed pipework, root ingress, scale build-up, or defects may exist beyond the initially identified issue.

Unless specified or selected, the following are not included:

  • Drainage excavation
  • CCTV drainage surveys
  • Drain lining works
  • Major drainage repairs

Specialist drainage works will be quoted separately if required.

11. Leak Detection

Exploratory works, access works, or specialist equipment may be required and may incur additional costs.
We cannot guarantee that all concealed leaks will be identified during an initial investigation.

12. Existing Services & Hidden Defects

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are based on visible inspection only. Hidden defects, inaccessible services, non-compliant installations, damaged pipework, concealed leaks, or historic alterations may only become apparent during works. Any additional works identified will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding.

13. Temporary Water Shutdowns

Plumbing works may require temporary shutdowns of water supplies during installation, repairs, testing, or commissioning. Whilst every effort will be made to minimise disruption, temporary loss of water services may be necessary during works.

14. Sanitaryware, Fixtures & Client-Supplied Items

Unless otherwise stated, we cannot guarantee compatibility, condition, or warranty of client-supplied fixtures, fittings, taps, sanitaryware, or appliances. Additional labour or materials required due to defective or incompatible client-supplied items may incur additional costs.

15. Warranty & Limitations

We provide a 12-month labour warranty on workmanship carried out by us unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties apply to products and materials supplied and installed, and vary depending on the manufacturer and product.

We shall not be held liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Manufacturer or supplier delays
  • Third-party contractors
